I've hiked the areas many times. Down valley, there is a lot of river because the river is rainwater fed (mostly, except early spring meltwater highwaters).<br /><br />A book I read about some fellas that hiked over the Andes to raft down the Amazon to the Atlantic had the same thing: no water up top, where it was cold and dry, and lots of water down below, where it was warm and raining wet.<br /><br />The glaciers could all melt and I'll bet we wouldn't see much change, if any. 4532 exinatioAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
