Thing of the past: "Southeastern Minnesota and western and central Wisconsin are bracing for 4 to 9 inches of snow"

It's snowing across northern Iowa today and it gets worse to the north. Southeastern Minnesota and western and central Wisconsin are bracing for 4 to 9 inches of snow.

The Iowa DOT is reporting that Interstate Highway 35 north of Huxley is covered in slush. I-35 north of Dows is snow and ice covered.

Interstate Highway 29 northbound near Sioux City was closed from 8:30 to 9:12 a.m., today for crashes related to the snow. No details on the accidents immediately were available.
