Refer him to the leading expert, Nils Axel Morner, who says it isn't happening.
Mind you, Morner uses observation rather than computer programmes.
Also ask the Maldive president, why he is encouraging the expansion of the tourist trade if jet engines are making the CO2 which (he says) is drowning his island.
