Shelton Iddeen, 57, of Greensboro, N.C., arrived at the Mall at 4 a.m. and huddled in front of an ambulance to warm up.

Northwest Herald | Everybody Loves a Parade ...
Well, not everyone. Lots of people are fleeing the District in advance of the Inaugural Parade, which starts in about 30 minutes.

Great day for a parade, but too many people have already spent too many hours out in too much cold weather. This great January sunshine can warm only the soul, not the body.
