The "Reality" Show Sham - Opinion
Society, I feel the need to address you about a certain subject that makes me sick to my stomach. I know that our world has grown tired of the Armageddon-eqsue warnings from the government screaming about global warming or the entire economic downfall of North America and beyond; but in this case, the sky is truly falling.
Daytona Beach: Obama's "spectre of a warming planet" not evident on inauguration day
The unusually bitter cold affected the turnout at Daytona Beach, Florida's, outdoor inauguration celebration, forcing people to take shelter at a local bar.
Frozen Pipes Cause more than Headaches - Southern Maryland News
Given the fact that, in St. Mary’s County alone, there have been at least 27 incidents of burst water pipes due to the cold, TBN decided to provide the following tips to preventing pipes from freezing and a brief look at what steps to take when they do.
...
On very bitter cold nights, people should keep a trickle of water running from faucets and open cabinet doors under sinks and appliances near exterior walls to allow warm air to circulate around the pipes. Running a trickle of water sounds wasteful, but consider the fact that a single one-eighth inch crack in a water pipe can discharge over 250 gallons of water per day, far more than a trickle.
Steven Milloy: Climate Confusione
Action to reduce the dreaded “global” warming, of course, needs to be coordinated on a global basis, hence the need, climate alarmists intimate, for global government. “We are one” was a theme of Barack Obama’s inauguration festivities - disturbingly similar to the Communist Chinese theme for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, “One World, One Dream.” While such rhetoric may sound inspiring, the reality is that it is little more than a euphemism for central planning and, ultimately, “the road to serfdom” as economist Friedrich Hayek might say.

America’s strength lies not in its one-ness, but in its diversity of beliefs and efforts. And it will take all our strength in the coming years to combat global warming alarmism and to keep America from falling into the totalitarian green abyss.
