As NRDC has said on multiple occasions, we can’t have a successful conclusion at Copenhagen if the U.S. Senate hasn’t passed a bill.
Wyoming: For second year, October snow weighs down trees, causes power outages
The storm is hauntingly similar to one that occurred Oct. 11-12 last year that dropped 11 inches of snow.

It took weeks for city crews to pick up all the downed tree limbs that residents piled at the curb side.

Similar work will occur again this year because the trees, which were still weighted with green leaves, broke under the weight of the 5 inches of snow.

About 4 inches fell in areas north and southeast of Bend, but some areas, including the city’s west side, saw more than 7 inches of snowfall in less than six hours, said Diann Coonfield, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Pendleton.

Coonfield said she believes more snow fell in Bend on Sunday than in any other October day in the last century.

PARK CITY, Utah - The cold, stormy weather on Tuesday brought snow in Parley's Canyon and Park City, while others in Utah down on the valley floor experienced heavy rain. Many people in the area told FOX 13 News that it is too early for snow.
