Kenya coffee crop hurt by cold weather last year

Capital Crunch: Obama confronts waning political capital - The Note
But whether President Obama's focus turns abroad again or stays at home for a stretch, the president is confronting the limits of his political capital -- from an Olympic loss, to the near-certain loss of a public option in a health care bill, and the end of streamlined decision-making on Afghanistan.

[Consensus reached: No one wants to PAY for climate swindle, but many are interested in GETTING PAID for climate swindle]: EU states split over CO2 targets
A GROUP of European Union member states is resisting calls for shipping to reduce its carbon dioxide emissions by 20% as part of Europe’s contribution to the climate change battle.

Maritime nations told the Swedish EU presidency they were opposed to the target, which would be set against 2005 levels, at a meeting of ambassadors in Brussels.

Led by Greece and supported by Malta and Cyprus - countries traditionally sensitive to the requests and requirements of the shipowning industry - the group of rebels is thought to be attempting to water down the target.
Experts not blaming climate change for ‘Ondoy’
...He cited as an example the case of Bangladesh where, in 1971, a cyclone of certain intensity killed 250,000 people. The same type of cyclone 1980 struck the country in 1980, killing 150,000. But in 2007, a similar cyclone killed only 3,000.
Where's the correlation between cyclone deaths and atmospheric CO2 levels?
