The Reference Frame: Dr Steven Chu fixes sign error: gasoline prices should go down

In September 2008, the 1997 physics Nobel prize winner Dr Steven Chu has made a calculation of the optimal gasoline price in the U.S. He published his findings in the Wall Street Journal:

"Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe."
