Just been to see the film Brave. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Great to see the Scottish landscape unscarred by hideous, pointless wind turbines
Suntech CEO move fails to reassure investors
On Tuesday, Suntech said it has obtained court orders to freeze the worldwide assets of GSF Capital and Javier Romero, a former Suntech employee who ran the fund.

The alleged fraud – which involved GSF claiming to have non-existent German government bonds as collateral for a guarantee from Suntech – appeared to involve Suntech “defrauding itself … it doesn’t really stack up,” Dougherty added.

“Having the CEO leave confirms every suspicion,” said Jesse Pichel, an analyst at Jefferies in New York. The GSF saga is “the cherry on the layered cake of more than $1 billion wasted in mindless acquisitions and questionable supply agreements” by Suntech.

“The company is a black eye on the face of the industry – and it’s meant to be a leader.”
