Should the greatest scientific fraud of all time really be at the center of all economic decisions?
The British envoy added that there was need to make sure that climate concerns were at the center of all economic decisions, adding that his government would like to hear Zambia's voice demanding more global action on climate change.

Six years ago, Friends of the earth, Greenpeace and the City of Boulder Colorado filed a lawsuit against the Import-Export Bank and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation claiming that these defendants had provided more than $32 billion in export credits, finance and insurance to fossil fuel projects without considering, as they were legally obliged to do, the environmental impact of their finance upon the United States, in terms of climate change. Later Santa Monica, Oakland and Arcata supported the claim.

This resonated for me after spending the day Friday talking to folks in Washington about what happened this past week in the U.S. Senate, with a series of votes that suggested enthusiasm for free climate lunches and not so much for action that might incur any costs.
