California Puts Big Chill on [Bogus] Global Warming Case Against Automakers
With far less fanfare than it generated when it was launched, California's battle to hold six car companies liable for contributing to global warming has come to an end. "I just want to say to all the members of Congress, you’ve been working hard," he said. "I wish I could give you all [long, fossil-fueled] trips to Hawaii, but I figured since — given our budget crunch we can’t do that, that we’d at least bring Hawaii to you."Why didn't Obama say that we shouldn't take trips to Hawaii even if we pay for them ourselves, since the resultant carbon dioxide emissions will result in stronger hurricanes that will kill our grandchildren?
