As a Brit who doesn't care about global warming, what I find laughable and irritating is the environmentalist groups' dumb equation of not caring about global warming = general apathy. Also insulting is that we should all be forced willy-nilly to change our behaviour in order to suit the greens' world view. They appear to have forgotten that we're supposed to be a democracy. And finally - "Urgent steps are needed"... Ah yes, the usual litany...
