Scientists call on Obama & Clinton: "Put Science before ideology".
"Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton could be the greatest trail-blazers for a new era in the 21st Century; but if they don't stand up to the failed ideology of man-made Global Warming and the interests who back it they could become the most foolish leaders of the new century" said Piers Corbyn astrophysicist of WeatherAction long range forecasters today (Jan 13) commenting on Hilary Clinton's confirmation hearing as USA Secretary Of State before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

In short, the wheels are falling off the global-warming bandwagon. While climate action boosters continue to call for politicians to ignore reality and believe the models and the theory --even in the face of mounting contrary evidence against catastrophic warming -- the public and politicians are wising up. Can it be long before big government promoters find a new boogeyman to hype?

The 2008 annual temperature for the contiguous United States was near average, while the temperature for December was below the long-term average, based on records dating back to 1895, according to a preliminary analysis by scientists at NOAA’s National Climatic Data Center in Asheville, N.C..The Central and Southern regions experienced below-average temperatures, while above-average temperatures were felt in the West, Southwest and Northeast. This resulted in a near average annual temperature for the contiguous U.S. and the coolest annual temperature since 1997.
