Wind Watch: Turbine blade slashes into neighbouring home
WALLACEBURG — Bill Fish wants the municipality to investigate homemade wind turbines after his neighbour’s device came crashing through his roof early this morning.

The Dufferin Avenue resident was shocked awake around 3 a.m. when an 8-foot wooden blade on his neighbour’s wind turbine, not only penetrated his roof, but the ceiling and wall of his wife’s sewing room during last night’s high winds.

Fish said this is the first time the device has damaged his house, but the fourth time the wind has damaged the turbine.
