Tim Ball: Gross Misuse of Science to Achieve a Political End
Meanwhile [Obama's] administration through the EPA is making a mockery of science by selectively identifying only some greenhouse gases as pollutants. Victors rewrite history and there are cases when they have rewritten nature, however, it is unconscionable when done by a modern scientific and technical society. It is even more unacceptable when unnecessary. When it means more government control, jeopardizes business and the economy while dramatically increasing the cost of living. There is only one explanation for their actions, ideologically blind politics, but as Aldous Huxley said, “The facts don’t cease to exist because they are ignored.”[But of course]: Stockholm’s water supply [allegedly] threatened by global warming
Draughts in the summer could, according to the Stockholm County Administration, lead to a situation where costal areas who today receive drinking-water from local installments’ could be without any water at all. People in Stockholm may also be prepared for the possibility of roads and houses to get flooded during heavy rainfall.
But there could also be some positive consequences, the report has found out.
“Heating costs will be lower if the temperature rises. It will also be good for farmers who will have a longer season. A warmer climate could also prolong the tourist season”, the report concludes.
