NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India will spend some $200 million to protect its forests and will announce how much carbon emission is being captured by its green cover, the environment minister said on Friday. / UK - India plans to build 100 warships
Admiral Sureesh Mehta, chief of naval staff, said the navy would spend more than Rupees 200bn ($4bn, €3bn, £2.5bn) a year on new capabilities, with about 60 per cent devoted to acquisitions of naval hardware.
