[California: Schools sponsor a hand-holding event to show support for the greatest scientific fraud in human history]
On this coming Saturday the South Bay 350 Climate Action Group is staging a vast, hands-holding-hands (bring the Purell) event for one reason only.

Or two if you count how everyone meeting at 3 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday in front of the Manhattan Beach Pier will perform the Amazing Waving Human Tide Line on the land side of the bike path, the place where waves may be crashing at some point in our children's future.

Meanwhile, our local photo opportunity is sponsored by the South Bay Council of Governments, the Surfrider Foundation, Heal The Bay, the League of Women Voters, the PV/South Bay Audobon Society, the L.A. County Board of Supervisors, the city of Manhattan Beach (Torrance, Hermosa, Redondo have resolutions scheduled), 50 local schools and many other organizations.
