Sound Politics: Obama Hates Dissent
[comment] Dissent and disagreement with the President was quite fashionable until January 20th, 2009.Journalist and climate fraud promoter Suzanne Goldenberg writes approvingly about another fraudster | Environment | guardian.co.uk
Now, if you disagree with how the healthcare insurance industry might be reformed you are a racist. If you want to point out new science on climate, such as the recent link between tree rings and cosmic rays, not temperature or CO2, well too bad, the science is settled. Etc.
Barely 20 minutes into the Q&A section of the press conference, an agitated spokesman for the Chamber burst into the room, screaming [watch the video--is the spokesman really "screaming"? He said he has spent the past seven years studying international climate change science and policy with an emphasis on China, a rapidly industrializing country.
"There is virtually no disagreement in the scientific community globally," Grumbine said. "The point is not 100 percent agreement. The point is 90 percent consensus. The evidence is clear, not just based on computer (modeling)."
Grumbine, who holds a doctorate in environmental policy from the Union Institute in Cincinnati, said parts per million of carbon in the atmosphere increased from 280 before the Industrial Revolution to 389 today.
