Temperatures are already falling...The A.P.P.L.E. Center for Sustainability could be doing the community a real service my preparing the community for the coming climate change as we experience yet again another dramatic change in global temperatures.

But for non-opinion news organizations, studies like the “carbon legacy” report should provide ample fodder for questioning alarmist environmental policy. It shows just how far the hand of Big Green has reached into our lives when both NBC News and the heralded Meet The Press willfully agree to promote global warming legislation rather than turn a critical eye to alarmism.

Now add 20,000 gallons of fresh water needed for a single gallon of biofuel as another large negative that scientists have documented. This incredibly stupid idea for biofuel energy has been legislated by Congress, renowned globally for its corruption by lobbyists, and, of course, its amazing scientific idiocy. Letting these same people make any decisions on CO2 emissions, global warming and/or climate change legislation and regulation is another disaster that can be avoided - starting in 2010, all politicians supporting 'cap & trade' policies need to be voted out of office.

Noteworthy as well has been China’s forward thinking energy program, building coal-fired plants at a brisk pace to extend electricity and, with it the prosperity that comes from affordable energy. By contrast, Obama recently visited and lauded a $150 million Florida solar power array that will only produce electricity for an average of four hours daily.
