[Churchill 2009: Lots of polar bears]
This time, we had no trouble at all finding the bears as they came to us. One woman counted 50 bears in all, although I'm fairly certain the number was closer to 35 as animals have a tendancy to walk around!

It took four years for Boris to see a bear in Churchill, they just were not around that much.
Nature sees no reason to investigate climate papers
So, what appears to be happening is that documents that don't seem to speak to the science are being used to derail an attempt to develop policies that are based on the conclusions of the scientific community. All in all, not a win for critical thinking.

We did alot of research out of Ft Churchill, sounding rockets probing the solar wind, aurora borealis ... We always had someone with a really big gun.
