There are a number of things to say here. Firstly, the Earth’s climate is very complex, and variation in temperature is not monocausal. It is affected by the long wave variation in the Earth’s orbital distance from the sun; by sun-spot activity; by the amount of particulate in the atmosphere whether from volcanoes, meteorites, or pollution, which blocks the sunlight; it is also affected by the amount of reflection, itself a function of glaciation; over the very long term global temperature is even affected by continental drift. So the greenhouse effect, whereby water vapour, CO2, CH4 and some other trace gases trap the heat energy is only one causal agent among many.

As expected, we couldn't get any coherent answers. There aren't any. At least, we have heard that despite complete failures in predicting anything about the weather for the next season, they're the best ones in the world in predicting the climate in 2050.

Well, it's probably not that hard to be the best among a particular group of pseudoscientific hacks - and the British taxpayers are foolish to pay this guy a salary - even the highest public job salary in the country.

You will also be struck by how cunning these nasty fraudsters are. Science these days is so very highly specialized that a scientist looking at science outside his specialist field is just as much in the dark as a layman with no scientific knowledge at all. If a couple of dozen in different sub-disciplines conspire together to make up bad science – and that is what Climategate shows the UN’s climate panel did – then the vast majority of the thousands of scientists participating worldwide will simply be unaware that they are being deceived, and they will be even more easily deceived than the layman, because they will tend to trust colleagues in their own profession.

Look into this matter with an open mind. The global warming alarmists are just using emotions to sway public opinion because their proposals will not stand the light of reason and investigation. Also there is a series called "The Great Global Warming Swindle" on youtube.com, but global warming alarmists have been trying to get it removed.
