Video: Flogging the Scientists - Charles Johnson - The Lizard Annex - True/Slant
Environmentalist Peter Sinclair fires off some pretty good snark at the climate change denial community in his new video, “Flogging the Scientists.” The title comes from denial mob leader Marc Morano, who said about climate scientists, “They deserve to be publicly flogged.”
Miami Waterworld? It Could Happen | NBC Miami
New scientific data says the sea is rising faster than anyone thought and under worst-case scenarios, much of Miami and South Florida could be under water by the end of the century, unless drastic measures are taken soon.

Some of the world’s leading experts on Arctic climate change are meeting in Miami this week to share the newest science and plot the course for future science.

The climate policy debate is currently a tussle between weakening political will and rising public skepticism.

The debate from skeptics who are non-scientists hits Kadko hard. “Absolutely. It's very frustrating. I think it's a great disservice to the populace not to get a clear, fair debate,” he said.

» The Stupidity, Futility, and Fantasy of “Earth Hour” - Big Journalism
Let us forget, for a moment, that “Earth Hour” is a pointless exercise serving only to make environmentalists feel better about themselves by marginally reducing electrical demand for 0.01% of the year. Let us disregard, for a moment, that the basic reason for having an “Earth Hour” in the first place is fatuous, because global warming alarmism has as much to do with actual science as alchemy does. Instead, as the MSM pushes this stupidity down our gullets once again, let us consider the effects of “Earth Hour,” in terms of power production and that environment. Indeed, a sober analysis suggests that “Earth Hour” doesn’t do anything to save a planet that doesn’t need saving and that it may in fact rather increase air pollution instead of reducing it.
Barrasso Faults Environment Committee Oversight - HUMAN EVENTS
Barrasso said the subcommittee’s Democratic majority allowed urgent affairs to fly under the radar, allowing the credibility of President Obama’s promises of transparency and sound science to be scrutinized.

‘Over the last year Mr. President, my colleagues and I have requested a series of investigations and hearings into key matters related to whistleblowers being silenced, data being manipulated, and shadow czars holding meetings where nothing was put into writing to avoid Freedom of Information Act requests,’ Barrasso charged.
