When the UN claimed, based only on computer modelling, that even a slight warming would lead to rainforest devastation, the prediction received wide media attention. It was repeated over and over again in news reports, school lectures and environmental campaigns. So it is curious that the latest conclusions, based on hands-on science, have been largely ignored.
Oh, well, climate alarmism is more religious cant than true science now, and the disparity in coverage is more proof of that.
