Pig bites Seoul resident; CO2 blamed

Climate change, development bring pigs to city - INSIDE JoongAng Daily
Wild boars are showing up on highways and in the middle of Seoul, as the global climate gets warmer and their natural habitat shrinks because of constant development.
...
Four other boars have been captured in Seoul this year. A female boar bit a 67-year-old resident on Nov. 12 in Yeoju County, Gyeonggi and was later fatally shot by a police officer.
...
“Global warming has helped more boars survive the winters,” said Lee Wu-sin, a forest sciences professor at Seoul National University. “Some of them have been expelled from natural habitats after power struggles with their peers.”

their natural habitat shrinks due to constant development. How exactly is AGW to blame? Here's a thought. If you are going to destroy habitat, how about controlling the numbers through hunting. It works wonders. On that note, has anyone ever thought that maybe cutting down trees and laying down thousands of square miles of asphalt and concrete may warm the area? Just a thought, I know the urban heat island thing is a myth. Forget the fact that it always seems to be warmer around cities. Probably because there are more people breathing out toxic CO2.

A female boar? Sounds like an oxymoron, or a sow looking for a sex-change operation.

Are you sure of the translation? Could it be that manbearpig has reared its ugly head again?
