Hundreds of Yankton, South Dakota birds poisoned by USDA
Some had thought 200 Starlings found dead in Yankton's Riverside park had froze to death. But they were actually poisoned on purpose, by the US Department of Agriculture.

The USDA confirms the story, saying the deaths were part of a large killing at a private feed lot in Nebraska.

A COUSIN of gangster Stewart 'Specky' Boyd who was found dead near a footpath died of hypothermia, her family revealed last night.

It had been feared Isabel Noon, 45, had been murdered and dumped after her body was discovered in Newton Mearns, East Renfrewshire, on Monday.

But relatives say they've been told the post mortem found the mum-of-two fell victim to freezing conditions.
