ATLANTA- The American Red Cross reports that inclement weather on Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 10 and 11, has resulted in more than 1,600 units of blood and platelets that could not be collected due to blood donation center closures, cancelled blood drives and the inability of donors to attend blood drives.And they didn't see the rain coming?

61 of them are senior executives paid up to $300 grand. More than 400 staff in total.
They cost us $90 million per year just to keep them.
$8 million in rent for their offices.
And they do nothing. Bugger all. Not a sausage.

And their website still says that we are suffering from lower than usual rainfall and that the trend will continue.
These are the people who reckon we should pay more tax because we are warming the planet. And causing drought in Australia.
They are off their rockers.
Ian Peters, Chief Operating Officer at British Gas, says: 'We know money is very tight for many people in Britain right now, particularly elderly, poor and disabled customers.
'That's why we promised to hold our Essentials prices throughout the winter, and it's why we're announcing this additional one-off payment to provide extra help following the recent extremely cold weather.'
