Adventuring for Gaia « The Daily Bayonet
Warmists love to adventure in the name of raising awareness, but who hasn’t heard about global warming? The topic has been rammed into the public consciousness for decades, can there be anyone left on the planet who hasn’t heard that man is to blame for slightly milder weather caused by a trace gas essential to life on Earth? Awareness is so universal that if an explorer discovered a tribe of previously unknown dragonfly-eating Amazonian pigmies tomorrow they’d greet him with their hands out demanding reparations for the habitat destruction caused by his mom’s minivan.

Everyone knows, so the reason people go adventuring for Gaia is because funding is a lot easier to find if you greenwash your life’s ambition to bob around on the ocean in a vessel made of bottles or whatever rows your, uh, boat.
