The American Spectator : AmSpecBlog : Hey NASA, Let the Sunshine
In short: how can you even try to pull the claim that releasing Hansen's applications for waiver for outside employment -- the ol' GSFC 17-60 -- would constitute a 'clearly unwarranted violation of his personal privacy', when you just released the same file for his co-worker Gavin Schmidt?

Do you really think you can get away with saying that whether or not NASA is complying with its ethics obligations is not relevant to the agency's operations, whether it is fulfilling its statutory duties or, as one court famously put it, "what [NASA] is up to"? Will you go to the mat with this claim that whether or not NASA is obeying ethics laws is not of the public's interest?
Global Warming Alarmism Continues To Backfire - James Taylor - Endpoint Analysis - Forbes
If a stockbroker keeps advising people to buy stocks that subsequently drop sharply in value, people eventually stop listening to the stockbroker. Similarly, there are only so many times global warming alarmists can falsely cry “wolf!” before people stop reacting with alarm.

Rather than step up the alarm, believers in a global warming crisis need to step up the realism.
Climate debate must separate science from policy: Australian Academy of Science | The Australian
Australian Academy of Science president Suzanne Cory has admitted that there is confusion among the general public about climate change but she says "the science is quite clear".
...
The Prime Minister said today that she accepted the science of climate change in the same way she accepted that smoking was unhealthy and excess sun exposure caused skin cancer.

"In every aspect of our daily lives, we accept science," she told ABC radio this morning.

"I mean, do you accept that smoking causes lung cancer and it's bad for people to smoke? I accept that and it's scientists who told us that.
...
She said that while there was scientific uncertainty about the extent of climate change, "even the most conservative estimates say action is warranted".

"The most important thing is to understand that there is strong science by many thousands of scientists over the last 100 years that has established that the climate is changing."
When wasn't the climate changing?
