...I think it's worthwhile trying to figure out how we could consciously, and with great forethought and democratic participation, start rebuilding civilization right now. An environmentalism based on carbon pricing may be dead, but I'm not worried about the death of environmentalism. I'm worried about the death of the biosphere.
