Overheated planet update, June 20 edition: In Colorado "too many" bike riders show up at aid stations "suffering from severe chills and hypothermia"

About 90 minutes after opening Trail Ridge Road, Bicycle Tour of Colorado organizers decided to sack the Estes Park to Granby leg of the tour due to wintry conditions. Too many riders were showing up at aid stations on the west side of Milner Pass suffering from severe chills and hypothermia, according to a Rocky Mountain National Park police officer directing traffic at the Alpine Visitor's Center.
