Cooling The Past In Maine | Real Science
Thermometers in Maine show that maximum temperatures have cooled substantially since 1895. However, the data presented to the public shows the opposite – because of data manipulation. For Farmington, Maine – USHCN subtracts as much as seven degrees from pre-1900 data, and make the cooling trend turn into a warming trend.
Andrew Pitman cries poor and rich, says climate science is certain, but is new and “changing” « JoNova: Science, carbon, climate and tax
Well which way is it then?

Last year Professor Andrew Pitman said the science was settled, he was a poor volunteer, and skeptics were rich (which was why they were winning).
C3: Modern Storm Activity Is Near A Low Point for The Last 2,220 Years Scientists Establish
The IPCC and associated Climategate scientists have claimed that human-induced global warming was producing unprecedented storm activity, with greater frequency and intensity. Using the geological activity of the Outer Banks barrier islands, Mallinson et al. was able to determine that storm activity over the last 100 years was actually less than that of both the Medieval Warming Period and the Little Ice Age - ergo, the claim that storm activity is unprecedented is false.
