CultureLab: Science in the Wilderness
Last Friday I set off on a three-day trip to Wilderness Festival, an event promising to feed all the senses with theatre, debates, parties, music and good food. Set in the woodlands of Cornbury Deer Park in the UK's Cotswold hills, the festival aims to reconnect revellers with all things wild.

On Sunday came the weekend's most heated debate - "Don't let the eco-warriors ruin your fun". Journalist James Delingpole argued that environmentally friendly wind farms destroy views of our countryside, kill birds and sap minerals from the soil, while climate sceptic Christopher Monckton argued that we should invest in helping poor populations rather than on campaigning against global warming.
