“There’s no evidence to suggest a winter from hell,” said Environment Canada climatologist David Phillips in response to recent Accuweather reports of brutal winter weather ahead for Edmonton.

Edmonton will likely be in the deep freeze for a fifth consecutive year, and it will be one of the top two coldest years in the last century in Alberta, warned some Accuweather reports.
