Hayhoe plays the gender card: "as a woman, most of the attacks that I'm receiving are from men, and so that has a very different dynamic to it that honestly can feel very threatening and intimidating sometimes"

Katharine Hayhoe: "..Much of This is Intended to Intimidate." - YouTube

I had the privilege to interview Dr. Hayhoe this past weekend at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, where the Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise
was conducting a workshop and Town Hall meeting entitled "Cures for Climate Confusion".

At the 4:10 mark she says "as a woman, most of the attacks that I'm receiving are from men, and so that has a very different dynamic to it that honestly can feel very threatening and intimidating sometimes".
At the 9:00 mark, she suggests that the current period of drought in the Southwest was initiated by La Nina. She then compares CO2 emissions to poor diet and/or lack of exercise.

Is this a slap at Newt? Regardless, if she thinks attacks from men are intimidating, she obviously hasn't met my mother-in-law....
