A really inconvenient truth is Earth not melting after all | Matt Patterson | Op Eds | Washington Examiner

Only a generation as narcissistic as the baby boomers would assume that the temperature they were accustomed to as they came of age in the mid-20th century is the "correct" or "average" global temperature, which must be maintained in perpetuity no matter the costs.

Again, from NASA: "Global temperature in 2011 was lower than in 1998." Now there's an inconvenient truth for you.

But, that the 2011 temp be lower than '98 is proof that the climate is changing. And, since climate change is a synonym for global warming, this actually proves that the globe is warming.

So let's get our 80% CO2 reductions by 2040 up and ready for draconian implementation! Naysayers will have their heads exploded, or just loped off if that's too much trouble.

That sounds like Orwellian big brother. Let's get the government out of this. They are showing bias, and taxpayer funded. Leave it to non-govt scientists to promote the scam.
