Climate Central’s projections show that the biggest cities in Florida, and a great deal of the Northeast coastline (including New York City), will be underwater by 2100, when almost everyone now alive will have “managed” to leave the scene.

Hmm, I think I can make scarier unsupportable sea level predictions than that. I say Florida's NE coast will be under water by 2090. No wait, under water by 2050! Yea, beat that.
Actually, James Hansen's said New York was to be underwater more than a decade ago.
