Gibraltar Chronicle - Cost of Gore visit ‘not yet finalised’
Gibraltar Government has said that the cost of bringing Al Gore to Gibraltar for the Think Green Forum in October “has not yet been finalized.” The spokesman said the cost will be funded by the Government and through sponsorship.

No debate on climate change is being organised and only Al Gore and close associate Juan Verde will be taking part.
Encyclopedia Britannica and climate change
In his introduction to The Britannica Guide to Climate Change, Lord May tells us that if we allow CO2 levels to reach 450-550 ppm, we could see a temperature rise of 11.52˚F by 2100 and "This would be the warmest period on Earth for at least the last 100,000 years."

And then he [May] said this: "It is worth noting that the last time our planet settled to greenhouse gas levels as high as 500 ppm was about 20-40 million years ago, when sea levels were around 300 feet higher than today."

In Atlantic Canada, the multi-million dollar lobster industry is trying to overcome low prices over the last four seasons, and now, an unusually large lobster haul in Maine. That state’s lobster catch has swamped the market and driven prices so low that Canadian fisherman are saying that it will not even be worth trapping lobster. Climate change might account for the warmer water temperatures and the large harvest in Maine.

The core alarmists Hansen, Mann, McKibben and Romm and their female acolytes are simply following the IPCC script with their ever more hysterical predictions of future extreme disasters as the current earth obstinately refuses to warm up. Andy I detect that you are not entirely comfortable with these wild speculations - but cant quite bring yourself to admit that cooling is more likely than warming in the next 30 years.
