Obama seems much more concerned about the fuel efficiency of your vehicles than he is about the fuel efficiency of his vehicles

Obama challenges Romney: Prius or steam engine? - POLITICO.com
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – President Obama had a little bit of fun at Mitt Romney's expense Wednesday, saying his Republican rival prefers "the steam engine" to 21st century fuel-efficent vehicles.

“My opponent called my position on fuel efficiency standards extreme,” Obama told about 7,500 people at the nTelos Wireless Pavillion on the edge of the historic downtown here. “I don’t know. It doesn’t seem extreme to me to want to have more fuel efficient cars. Maybe the steam engine is more his speed.”

EPA and the Transportation Department put the final touches Tuesday on a new environmental rule that will double the average fuel economy of the American auto fleet to 54.5 miles per gallon by 2025. The standards are arguably Obama's biggest accomplishment on climate change during his term.
