"The US is taking a wrecking ball to the climate convention and any hope of stopping run away climate catastrophe"

DailyNews Online Edition - Little progress out of Bangkok climate talks
"The United States and its allies want the UN to 'be silent' on issues where they haven't yet reached agreement. To be clear means they want the UN not to solve climate change. The US is taking a wrecking ball to the climate convention and any hope of stopping run away climate catastrophe," Meena Raman, negotiation expert at Third World Network said.
...
"Bangkok has been the process of peeling back the banana skin of the 'Durban agreement' and it's clear the insides are very soft and squishy. The 20 per cent target the EU is offering is "business as usual," business as usual is killing the climate and it is criminal," Mohamed Adow, international advisor on climate change at Christian Aid said.
Why isn't Andy Revkin writing indignant "woe is me, shame on you" articles about the alleged U.S. failure at this allegedly critical meeting?

Is it just me, or is he a whole lot less interested in criticizing U.S. climate policy with Obama in office than he was with Bush in office?
