Al Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection and its Repower America campaign jumped in today with a new national TV ad that speaks to the potential for renewable energy to repower America.

“We’re still borrowing money to buy oil from dictators who don’t like us and burning it in ways that kill God’s green earth,” a farmer tells viewers. “Why can’t we use our own clean energy and create good paying jobs here instead of sending billions overseas?”  [For one thing, maybe because we're a long way from being able to run all of our cars on wind and solar power?]
