US Sen. Alexander Says 'No' To Climate [Swindle] Compromise

Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., who leads the Republican Party's policy-development group, said on Monday that legislation to impose mandatory reductions in greenhouse-gas emissions, which has already cleared the U.S. House of Representatives, "needs to be junked." He said that altering the measure to add incentives for more nuclear power would not be enough to win his support.
"It's unfixable," Alexander said at the National Press Club, where he called for the development of 100 new nuclear plants by 2030.
