Seth Borenstein: AP Has a ‘Science’ Writer Problem | DBKP - Death By 1000 Papercuts - DBKP
Seth Borenstein’s byline is usually ‘Associated Press Science Writer’. It should read ‘Associated Press “Science” writer’ The scare quotes around “science” are necessary because Borenstein practices a type of reporting that is anything but objective–at least when the subject matter is climate change.
“rotten” sea ice – not even in Denmark « Watts Up With That?
Gosh, the Arctic ice is rotten, the satellites are duped, and none of the major scientific organzations that track sea ice have anything to say about it?

It seems Dr. Barber’s conclusions are being left out in the cold by his peers.
American Thinker: Climategate TKO in Copenhagen?
Lord Christopher Monckton of the Science and Public Policy Institute was uninvited to the "big show" at the United Nations climate change conference. Monckton held a "counter conference" of his own in Copenhagen with a contingent of 60 scientists and climatologists. He issued a 34 minute video statement where he named each global warming scientist and expert who had been involved in the alleged "fraud" of global warming research and to what extent.
Journalist Inquiries (AGU Climate Science Q&A Journalists)
Members of the Media,

If you have questions about climate science during the Copenhagen negotiations (12/7-18), we hope that you will take advantage of a service that AGU is piloting during this time period. We are sponsoring an email service, in collaboration with EmailCenterPro, in which 650 PhD-trained climate scientists have signed up to answer your questions about climate science. The expertise of these scientists spans the spectrum of climate science, from atmospheric chemistry to oceanography to ecology to paleoclimate.

These scientists have signed up for two-hour time slots, with 3-5 scientists in each time slot representing different areas of climate science expertise.  During their designated two-hour shift, these scientists will staff a shared climate science email in-box and collaborate with each other to answer questions in a timely manner.  Questions and answers will be archived by AGU for post-project analysis and may be made available to the public at a future date.
