How much? As it stands now, a potential 6-to-12 inch snowstorm in highly populated Northeast cities. This is HIGHLY dependent upon the extent of the storm's explosive coastal development and track of storm.

Going back to the 2005 Science study, the point is that if you convert a white landscape to a boreal forest, the surface suddenly starts collecting a lot more solar energy.
Remember that time 20,000 years ago, when we lost that nice mile-thick ice at Chicago, and positive feedbacks resulted in the Earth becoming inhabitable?  Neither do I
