The EPA Cannot Be Trusted to Keep the Lights on
So the EPA is low-balling the impacts of its regulations. Nothing new there—EPA long has underestimated the cost of its regulations. Expensive energy is bad enough; unreliable electricity is worse still. Demand-driven blackouts are a hallmark of developing countries. They are known in America only to Californians, where rolling brownouts have been unfortunate side-effect of silly green energy policies.

In light of these recent, troubling revelations about the EPA’s reliability analysis, the Congress should consider carefully whether the EPA is competent to avoid plunging this country into darkness.
Obama Losing the CBC on Green Jobs - By Greg Pollowitz - Planet Gore - National Review Online
Here’s Maxine Waters from Hardball last night where she says, “All this talk about the green jobs never materialized.” And she’s shocked about this? It will be interesting to see if there are any “green” ideas in Obama’s jobs proposal that he’s going to get to as soon as his vacation is over. From what I’m reading, I’m hearing roads, schools, and water projects but nothing to do with “green” energy. Stay tuned.
Gas Prices Under Obama - By Henry Payne - Planet Gore - National Review Online
But what Bachmann knows, and CNN and the rest of the smarty-pants don’t like to report, is that Obama has been systematically strangling U.S. oil production — from Shell in Alaska to a Canadian pipeline — in order to drive up prices as part of his green American revolution (even as the White House has been rhetorically sympathetic to lower prices).
...
If it sounds like the Obamaphiles aren’t very interested in goosing production, you’re right. Warming zealots like high energy prices just fine.

Obama acts like he has no clue what the EPA is doing. He's like a principal of a junior high who has no clue that the 16- and 17-year old perpetually flunking delinquents have actually taken control of the place - and wonders why nothing can get accomplished.

If it's a "good cop/bad cop" routine it is indeed subtle.

President Obama: "I want to hear you input on how we can get people back to work! That's why I'm here to visit!"
