He bought into this in the early 1980s — long before Al Gore came along. He resigned from the Sierra Club over it.

Here's an article about Muller in 2006 where it shows not only is he a believer in AGW, it also looks like he's critical of Mann's hockey stick:


Although Muller estimates 2 in 3 odds that humans are causing global warming, "the fact that the original conclusion of Mann et al. is 'plausible' is damning with faint praise," he said. "Theories are plausible; discoveries are supposed to be proven."
