Big, Big, BIG money: Climate realist Indur Goklany allegedly receives so much monthly oil money that if his payments were quadrupled, that would almost be enough income for a New York family of four to be ineligible for home heating assistance

Author of new climate sceptic report was set to receive $1000 a month from oil lobby group | Left Foot Forward
Their new report out today is authored by Indur Goklany, who previously worked for the Bush administration and who is linked to a number of oil industry funded US lobby groups.

Yes Tom. 1000 x 4 does equal the monthly income for a New York family to become ineligible for heating assistance.

While I do not agree with or support many of the views held by Indur Goklany, I would like to point out that his annual income comes no where close to that of the big-whigs in bed with the oil companies, and does not even qualify for upper class standards in Washington D.C.

Dr. Goklany has worked for the federal government for over 20 years under both Republican and Democratic parties. The link to the article you have provided states that he has worked for Bush administration, but he was also around for Clinton and Gore's term. While the Heartland Institute is a conservative organization, Dr. Goklany has aligned himself with the Libertarian party, and shares and respects many views with leftists, such as myself.
