Copenhagen: Open letter to R Pachauri from Viscount Monckton and Steve Fielding | Australian Climate Madness
2. It does indeed contain Al's apocalyptic poem (it's on page 28).
In any event, errors and exaggerations such as that which is evidenced in the IPCC’s defective graph do not inspire confidence in the reliability of the IPCC’s scientific case. Given this and other mistakes that an international body of this nature ought not to have made, and given your numerous and direct conflicts of interest that have, in our opinion, been insufficiently disclosed, we are also copying this letter to the delegations of the states parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change with a request that you be stripped of office forthwith.Roger L. Simon: Cope Notes #2: So Many Despots, So Little Time!
I kept thinking of Marx’s famous rewrite of Hegel – the one about history being replayed the first time as tragedy and the second time as farce. I don’t know about tragedy, but there certainly was plenty of farce to go around – demonstrators dressed as clowns, middle-aged Brazilian ladies in tiger suits and Amazonian false breasts promising to save the rain forests, an old guy from Estonia pushing a model elephant he had constructed entirely of recycled trash. These were Norman Mailer’s Armies of the Night gone globalist and, boy, did they appear useless. What will they all do when it’s over and they have to go home? Can the Climate Conference Avoid Diplomatic Doom? - Reason Magazine
It appears that a lot people assumed going into COP-15 that the replacement of the widely loathed George W. Bush with Barack Obama as U.S. president would change everything. Much to the shock and horror of many of the “climate justice” activists gathered here in Hopenhagen, it hasn’t.Sen. Inhofe (R) In Lion's Den in Copenhagen « Liveshots

Climategate reared its ugly head a couple of times today. For example, during the Bellona Foundation session, Jeremy Symons of the National Wildlife Federation adopted Al Gore’s meme that it’s a smear campaign orchestrated by climate change “deniers” funded by oil companies who are trying to derail climate change negotiations by playing “gotcha politics with 10 year-old emails.” Never mind that the some of the emails are as recent as October.
Surrounded by reporters from around the world, including many who believe global warming is real, Inhofe often looked like a lamb on his way to slaughter.Would anyone have noticed Rudd’s scheme? | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
One reporter asked Inhofe “What do you tell the children who have to live in a nightmare world. What should we tell them about your country being a heroin addict on fossil fuel? Answer the question!”
“Most of you are on the far left side, so listen closely. I contend the consensus is not there, and it wasn’t there prior to Climate-gate.”
“Nothing binding will come out of here in my opinion, and if it does it will be rejected by the American people.”
Remember how Kevin Rudd insisted the Liberals had to pass his emissions trading scheme in time for the Copenhagen meeting? Looking at the all-in brawl it’s become, and how it’s essentially a showdown between the US and China, can anyone detect any sign at all that Australia’s example would have made the slightest difference?Your future in their hands | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
Don’t tell me it was just more baseless Rudd spin…
The people who want a Copenhagen deal look like this. Do these people really look like the kind who’d know best how to run your economy?Column - 20 tips to save the planet | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
I’ve scoured the papers to find this year’s 20 top tips to cut your gases and help save this planet from global warming catastrophe.Rudd’s latest scientific advisor: a six-year-old girl | Herald Sun Andrew Bolt Blog
And, swear to God, every one of these news items is genuine.
Kevin Rudd would rather take the word of a [brainwashed] six-year-old girl than of a 69-year-old climate scientist as distingushed as Richard Lindzen:Los Angeles Times [blogger Andrew Malcolm seems woefully uninformed about Al Gore's new book]
December 17, 2009 | 1:36 am1. Al's book, "Our Choice" is out already.

It's so depressing (in fact, don't watch this video down below if you can help it) that the losing ...
... presidential candidate didn't include it in his upcoming new ...... book looking toward the environmental future -- if indeed there is one after the carbon footprints in the sky of all the private jets flying into and out of Copenhagen for the U.N. climate change conference and the millions of words being uttered there.
Conan O'Brien suggested the other late-night that Danish police broadcast Al Gore speeches over loudspeakers to sedate crowds of violent eco-protesters. That's probably untrue.
But Gore says his new poem is essentially the condensation of a 28-page chapter he also didn't include in the book, due out next year -- if indeed there is a next year.
