Cold weather linked to one death | West Palm Beach News, South Florida

BROWARD COUNTY, FL-- South Floridians woke up to stinging cold conditions, prompting a freeze watch for most of Wednesday.

Feel-like temperatures were recorded at 20 degrees this morning.

The unusually cold conditions are likely to blame in at least one death, that of a homeless man found Monday near Hollywood's Young Circle, Broward Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Joshua Perper said Wednesday.

Cold wave kills 25 in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- Four people died of cold spell in Saptari in eastern Nepal and Bara districts on Wednesday, taking the death toll to 25 in Nepal for the past one week.
