[Lakeland shatters record low by 7 degrees] | Lakeland, FL
UPDATE: Lakeland has set a record cold for this date, the National Weather Service said. Temperatures dropped to 28 degrees. The record for the date was 35 degrees set in 1980 and matched in 1985, according to Bay News 9.
