[Can CO2 really give you an STD?]
In neighbouring Uganda, the food crises associated with climate change have been linked to higher rates of early marriage for girls, as they are exchanged for dowry or bride price.

These “famine marriages” – as they are called – not only lead to girls dropping out of school, but also make them vulnerable to sexually transmitted infections and related reproductive complications.
The Associated Press: White House hosts meeting on energy, climate [scam]
Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, one of the lawmakers invited to the White House, said the energy bill should create jobs.

"Climate change is about pricing carbon, and creating a whole new wind, solar panel, fuel cell industry in this country," Brown said.

At the same time, Brown said he wants to ensure that the legislation is written in a way to help manufacturers in his state, including companies that make aluminum, cement, glass, steel, paper and chemicals.

Another rentseeking POS who is selling "green jobs" as the savior of the Black community, bringing back manufacturing jobs for people the educational system has left behind.
I hate these shysters.

No doubt junk legislation creates "green jobs". But for every job created 2.2 jobs are lost, according to one study. Also, how sustainable are these jobs? Most are construction jobs which will disappear when the structure (wind turbine for example) is completed. Also, another study i read claimed that each "green job" created had a price tag of about $170,000. Only in America would we try to do something this stupid.
